Millions Yahoo User Password Threatened

Heartbleed newly discovered hole takes a lot of attention. Therefore, the gap allows hackers to hijack usernames and passwords of users.

Cracks in the OpenSSL encryption system has been killed, say Yahoo. A hacker claims to get a peek at Yahoo's user data services in just 5 minutes.


"With Heartbleed bug, I can reveal usernames and passwords of Yahoo," chirping Ronald Prins internet security experts from institutions Fox-IT.


"Just stay Heartbleed run the script, I could unload 200 Yahoo email account," he added, while evidence includes the findings that have been censored.


Yahoo admits it. Cracks have Heartbleed tarnish protection system they built for services such as Yahoo Homepage, Yahoo Search, Yahoo Mail, Yahoo Finance, Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Food, Yahoo Tech, Flickr, and Tumblr.


But swiftly, the managers of Yahoo services directly fix the vulnerability.
