Indonesia - In order to get a good marketing gimmick while protecting their work, Google plans to patent the name Glass to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. But unfortunately, the result is not too smooth.

Yes, Google is filing a patent for the name Glass along with its logo to protect the interests of its wearable gadget, the Google smart glasses Glass.

Unfortunately, the patent and trademark office of the United States refused Google's desire. The reason, said Glass who wants patented is considered a generic descriptive words that can not be claimed as belonging to Google.

In a letter sent to Google about last September, authorities also revealed that many companies use Glass brand and not Google who wants to patent it.

Google's own reasonable needs patented Glass said, either because the name Google Glass is well known so I feel quite entitled to patent the name. Currently, Google is still not giving up and trying to convince the patent office that they have the right to patent the name Glass.
